Faig is a Partner at Cornerstone Legal, leading the Banking & Finance and Corporate Finance, M&A, Competition Law practice of the firm. He is known for his expertise in navigating complex financial and legal issues, providing strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, and supporting clients across various industries.

His career began as an Associate at J&T Consulting LLC, where he advised on corporate, banking, and commercial matters. He then joined Georgian Railway, where he focused on regulatory compliance and internal policy development, helping the company streamline its legal processes. He later joined Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Berlin, where he supported the legal aspects of the ALSTOM acquisition of Bombardier, a 5.5 billion Euro deal and one of the largest acquisitions in Europe.

Upon returning to Georgia, he joined JSC Ziraat Bank Georgia, a member of Turkey’s largest financial organization, Ziraat Bank Group, where he advised senior management on complex banking regulations and corporate matters. His work continued at JSC PASHA Bank Georgia, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan’s leading financial institution and member of PASHA Holding, where he coordinated with the National Bank of Georgia and supported the development of new financial products, lead the retail segment of the bank ensuring its compliance with all relevant local and international regulations.

He later joined Silk Bank, a member of one of Georgia’s leading private investment groups, Silk Road Group, as Senior Lawyer. At Silk Bank, he provided legal support for strategic financial projects, as well as managed relationships with Cloud Computing Service Providers and Payment Service Providers, and ensured regulatory compliance for the bank’s operations.

Fluent in Georgian, Russian, English, Turkish, and Azerbaijani — Faig combines his understanding of financial and legal frameworks to support clients effectively. He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Law from Tbilisi State University and is a graduate of the master’s program in law from Humboldt University of Berlin. He is also a member of Georgian Bar Association.
