Davit Jojishvili is a Partner at Cornerstone Legal, leading the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. With significant experience in litigation, including corporate and complex financial disputes, as well as regulatory compliance, he provides strategic legal advice to clients across various industries.
Davit’s legal career began at Microfinance Organization Okey JSC, where he represented the company in both private disputes and before state authorities. His experience in corporate and financial litigation honed his ability to craft effective legal strategies that mitigate risks and resolve disputes efficiently.
Following his role at Okey JSC, Davit contributed to Georgian Railway JSC through legal outsourcing with J&T Consulting LLC, where he provided litigation support and successfully navigated regulatory challenges. His career progressed in the tobacco industry, where he served as a head of the legal department of one of the company operating in tobacco industry. There, he managed contractual negotiations, tax matters, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Later, Davit joined JSC Pasha Bank Georgia, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan’s leading financial institution and a member of PASHA Holding, where he led the bank’s litigation team, managing high-profile financial and corporate disputes in courts, arbitrations, and before state authorities and revenue service. Davit developed and implemented a comprehensive litigation system from scratch, creating a streamlined approach to legal management.
Davit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Tbilisi State University and a Master’s degree in Business Law from Free University of Tbilisi. He is a member of the Georgian Bar Association. Fluent in Georgian, English, and Russian, Davit’s experience in handling complex, cross-border legal disputes make him adept at navigating international legal matters with efficiency and precision.
